Newark Liberty International Airport is the most commonly used airport for lipedema patients traveling to the Lipedema MD Center. It is approximately 35–40 miles away, with a typical drive time of 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Newark Liberty International Airport, lipedema patients typically take the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) South, exit at Exit 11, merge onto the Garden State Parkway South, and continue to Exit 105. The Lipedema MD Center is located just off Exit 105.

We strongly recommend that lipedema patients travel by car after surgery, either using a rental car or private transportation. Vehicles with higher seat height and ample interior space provide greater comfort and safety during recovery.
